Privacy

Information about browsing and retailer links under Argentina's personal data protection framework.

Scope of this policy

This website is an informational landing page for El Sínodo del Silencio. It does not allow visitors to create accounts, submit forms, or join mailing lists, and it does not maintain a visitor database.

The ARCOS conversation experience is not currently enabled. The website does not receive, retain, or transmit visitor messages to an artificial intelligence system.

Browsing and technical data

The website does not install third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools and does not build visitor profiles. The classification of people is an element of the novel, not a function of this website.

As with any website, its hosting and security infrastructure may temporarily process technical data—such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, and browser type—to deliver content, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. This website does not use that data for advertising or individual behavioral assessment.

Cookies

The public version of the website does not require cookies. During a private review, a strictly necessary technical access cookie named arcos_acceso may be enabled. It cannot be read by JavaScript, expires after no more than 30 days, and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Purchasing the book

Purchase links lead to independent international retailers. When you follow one, you leave this website. Search, purchase, payment, delivery, and the information required for those operations are handled directly by the selected retailer under its own terms and privacy policy. This website does not receive your order or payment details.

Social media and external links

The Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube icons link directly to the novel's official profiles on external platforms. When you follow them, you leave this website and each social network's terms and privacy policy apply. This website does not receive information about your subsequent activity on those services.

Argentine framework and your rights

This policy is interpreted under Argentina's Personal Data Protection Act No. 25,326, Regulatory Decree No. 1558/2001, and supplementary rules issued by the Access to Public Information Agency (AAIP).

Where personal data capable of identifying an individual is processed, the data subject may exercise the rights of information, access, update, correction, and deletion established by law. The AAIP is the competent supervisory authority for enquiries, claims, and complaints.
